The Mill Lakeside Manor Wedding

The Mill Lakeside Manor Wedding with Domi and Trevor. What can I say, this wedding was an absolute blast! I initially met Domi and Trevor at Domi’s sister’s wedding. Their family quickly became great friends and it was so nice to walk into bridal prep with so many familiar faces greeting me. Domi got ready at her sister’s house in Wall, NJ while Trevor got ready in Point Pleasant. Their daughter, Reilly, was so excited to be a flower girl and loved trying on Mom’s shoes and dress before putting on her almost matching flower girl dress. When we arrived at the Mill Lakeside Manor, we started with a first look between Trevor and his daughter. She excitedly ran down the path and onto the dock where her Dad was waiting, and it was just the cutest moment. Next, Domi came out to see Trevor and after their emotional first look, we grabbed some portraits on the grounds. There are many different places at the Mill Lakeside Manor to take photos. We utilized the dock on the lake, as well as around the gardens and in front of the venue. It was a chilly and breezy December day, so we grabbed what we could and then finished portraits inside. The foyer is bright and clean with a grand staircase which is great for photos. Since they opted for a first look, we were able to get all of their photos, as well as their family photos out of the way before the ceremony. Their ceremony took place in the ballroom, where it was uplit with amber lighting, which made it very cozy and romantic. After the ceremony, they spent a few minutes in the bridal suite and then went out to join their guests at cocktail hour. The Mill Lakeside Manor has an incredible spread and offerings for cocktail hour. It’s a wonder anyone has an appetite for dinner! Once it was time for the reception to start, the DJ had everyone on the dance floor and having a great time. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of this family’s life and document both sisters’ weddings.
