Brooklake Country Club Wedding | Maileen & Charles

Maileen and Charles had a beautiful Brooklake Country Club wedding. The day started a little rainy, but by the time we were ready to take photos at the country club, the weather cleared up. Their ceremony took place in St Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jersey City. What a beautiful church! It took my breath away. When Maileen began to walk down the aisle I could see in Charles’ eyes he couldn’t wait to marry her. She met her parents halfway down the aisle where they then walked her towards her groom. The ceremony was very touching with family members doing readings as well as singing. When they exited the church, they were greeted by all of their guests blowing bubbles, which made a great photo op. As I mentioned before, when we got to the country club, the weather was a bit rainy but cleared up enough for us to take photos along the grounds of Brooklake Country Club. It was a stunning venue and the first time I’ve ever shot there. I hope to shoot a wedding there again because it was just gorgeous. When Maileen and Charles were introduced, the whole whole room erupted with applause. Their first dance was to Sam Smith’s Latch while dancing on the clouds. Maileen danced with her father and Charles with his Grandmother. Once speeches and other formalities were complete, Lifetime Entertainment had the dance floor packed immediately and boy did this crowd love some line dances! It was such a fun night, and I am so happy to have been there to document their special day.
